Customer Reviews
- Is't no much, but just what I was looking for
- Thanks to "destructo"'s advice, I set it to channel 2. I don't want the freeze-alarm warning going off in the middle of the night.
All I wanted was an outdoor/indoor thermometer, and this one fit the bill for cheap. Lithium batteries in the outdoor unit, and rechargeable NiMH batteries in the inside unit. Should be just fine. Time will tell.

- The outdoor humidity never registered and then quit altogether
- The atomic clock part was great and the display easy to see. The outdoor humidity reading never worked since we got it and then it quit working altogether. We tried to reset it, put in new batteries, etc. We finally had to return it. I wouldn't recommend this unit. More reviews

- I am very displeased with this product. I set it up exactly as the instructions dictate and it powered up. But even though the main unit indicated it was getting a signal from the outside sensor, there was no temperature reading. Took the batteries out and tried again. Same result. At this point I posted a question concerning what was going on on Oregon Scientific's More reviews
- Oregon Scientific RMR682A Wireless Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer with Self-Setting Atomic Clock
- I bought this device to gauge the temperature in my summer home and garage in Carson Valley Nevada. The thermometer Is easy to set up and use , it works outstanding. I will be useing a second unit in my winter home in Mesa AZ. to gauge how hot it gets out side and inside my townhouse since installing sun screens this year with my AC shut off. More reviews
- works for me!
- I purchased this as a replacement for one that got destroyed by siding contractors. It worked right out of the box with no problems. it does appear to be off on the inside temp by about 3 degrees.
One downside to it, no backlight to be able to see it at night.
Other than that one thing, I am very pleased with it. More reviews
