The BaseCamp is ideal for budget-minded campers who want a warm, comfortable night's sleep. This updated 2006 version is now thicker and warmer than ever before. Designed for campers who rarely carry their mattress in a backpack, and don't need to be overly concerned about weight, the Therm-a-Rest BaseCamp offers extra-thick foam padding for greater warmth and comfort than dual-use backpacking/camping pads. The Therm-a-Rest BaseCamp is self-inflating. When you unroll the pad and open the valve, the open-celled foam responds by soaking up air, similar to a sponge absorbing liquid. Self-inflation is what makes Therm-a-Rest mattresses easy to use and comfortable. Once the mattress has inflated, you can adjust the firmness by adding air or letting air out. It's that simple. Regular size pad is 20 x 72 x 2.0 inches and weighs 2 lb. 12 oz. Stuff sack not included.

- good product. just gotta makesure it's opened and air 1st time. but other than that it's awsome. suggestion is to also buy a carrying bag. More reviews
