- The best insulated glasses, but smaller capacity than stated
- I waited a long time to buy these, mostly because of the cost, but also because I couldn't make up my mind which size to buy. My reasons for wanting them was to keep drinks cold, with ice not melting so soon, but particularly for their ability to insulate so well that the glass does not leave a pool of water on the table or desk. The reviews were all good in this area. And now, having used them quite a bit, I totally agree with all reviews in that regard, and am glad to say they have lived up to the claims made for them by the manufacturer/seller regarding their insulation properties. I did read at least one review that they seemed to be, or were, smaller than what was stated in their description, with the recommendation by some to get a larger size than the one you may think you want. I did not do this because I thought they may be a little too large around to grasp comfortably (as is the case with a larger insulated glass I have, which sweats like crazy and not this brand), and went ahead and ordered the 16 ounce. I now wish I had ordered the larger size, or at least one of the larger size for myself (and may now do so if I can stomach the shipping cost), since I am mostly the one to use them. I measured the capacity of the ones I have that they claim to be 16oz. If you fill them all the way to the top (which of course you won't be doing when you fill with your beverage), they hold closer to 14oz. Unless my water is lighter than the people from the company who tested this (joke), there is no way they will hold 16 ounces. And adding ice naturally reduces the liquid capacity. I add less ice than I used to, since the ice stays around much longer in these glasses, but in the warmer weather I empty it too soon and have to refill it more. I got the lids with straws to fit these, and they are really nicely made and fit the glass very well. I have the assorted colors, and they are nicely colored, towards being pastel. A last thought on the size: the 16 ounce does fit well into my cup holder in my vehicle, and am guessing a larger one probably would not.

- Finally found some great tumblers
- These tumblers deliver what they promise--great insulation, keeps my drink cold for a long time, and they really can go in the dishwasher. I have been looking for something like this for a long time. It took me a while to decide to spend $10 per tumbler, but it was worth it. I love the colors. And with the Tervis lifetime guarantee, I can get a free replacement if something goes wrong. I have also bought the lids and straws and they are just as great and go in the dishwasher, too. I will probably buy more of these in another set of colors. You just can't go wrong with these.

- Great everyday insulated glasses
- Tervis makes the best insulated tumbler on the market. These plastic tumblers are ideal for hot and cold drinks, keeping the outside of the cup a comfortable temperature while the beverage retains its temp. There are other, cheaper tumblers on the market. The difference between those and Tervis is durability. These tumblers will last for years. I've used other tumblers that have the inner lining and outer lining glued together, eventually they come apart.

We've enjoyed Tervis Tumblers for many years. They are durable and withstand daily use and washing in the dishwasher. Don't let the price "put you off." These will last "forever" whereas cheaper glasses make a swift trip to the recycle bin. Shipping from the Beall's website through Amazon was quick...could't have had a better shopping experience. In fact, I'm going to order more. Although we own 18 in various sizes, we still could use another 4.
