Most of the competition uses a 46 lb paper and stops the bubble an inch or so short of the flap.

- I bought these #2 envelopes & they are very very thin. I have bought better ones that are a little more expensive & they are much thicker & better quality. When I am mailing my books to customers it is very important to make sure the envelope is not so thin the corner of the book punctures a hole, because the book can be damaged.
