- yet another leakage in the handle after only a few months of use
- We are very disappointed with this device. We bought it only a few months ago and have been using it regularly, two adults, once a day, but recently the top bit of the handle started to leak big time and the waterpik has since become unusable. This is very disappointing. We are going to have to trash it and find an alternative product. Personally I find it simply scandalous to market such rubbish products. Yet another consequence of nonsensical outsourcing and frenetic globalization. I'd much rather spend twice the price for a reliable product, rather than one that lasts four months and will end up polluting the planet a bit more.

- Outstanding product
- Recently bought the WaterPik Ultra and must say I am exceedingly pleased with the design, construction, and performance of the unit. From a design standpoint, Waterpik has chucked the outdated prevous models which were bulky, awkward, unattractive and underpowered. This unit has been trimed and refined like something from Apple -- attractive, functional, and with a healthy dose of visual appeal. Construction seems solid and well fitted, right down to a permanent coil in the hose to the handpiece that nestles nicely back into the body out of the way and with no tangles. As for performance, I am just short of amazed. With a mouthful of old fillings and repairs that have now outlived their useful life, I was skeptical that the WaterPik could deliver on its 14-day money back guarantee, especially since I had owned a unit many years ago that was not worth the money and time expended on it. But this little beauty delivers a strong water pulse that really cleans in hard to reach places. If this product saves the cost of just one filling, it will more than have paid for itself.

- Wow!
- Totally amazed by what a great job this product does. I have not had any of the problems I have seen listed here. All I can tell you is that I feel as though I have just walked out of the dentist's office every day. I am less inclined to eat food that is bad for my teeth (and for me) because I love the sparkly clean feeling to last all day. I use the Sonicare Elite and the Waterpik Ultra at least twice a day. I do floss with the Reach battery opperated flosser once a day but I feel this is probably over-kill. I feel great when I go to bed and I wake up with squeaky clean teeth in the morning. I WANT TO BRUSH MY TEETH AND USE THE WATERPIK!! It gives you a very comfortable, fresh feeling. Try it, I guarantee you won't be sorry! I did not have trouble adjusting to the settings and I vary between high and low just because sometimes that is what I want.

- Works great but can be too powerful
- This works as advertised but the I cannot use it past a 1 or 2 setting. The higher settings made my gums bleed - and they don't bleed otherwise. The tank is the perfect size. I'm sure my hygienist will appreciate it!
