- Amazing
- I buy this stuff in bulk and eat it like candy. It is so good. Its also relatively healthy so instead of chomping on a pack of double stuffed peanut butter Oreos, you can grab a bag of this. However, I am warning you; this beef jerky is not for everyone. This is really only suited for people who enjoy tender, delicious, hearty servings of high quality beef. If that doesn't sound like something you would enjoy, I suggest you look elsewhere, maybe some Oh, Boy Oberto.

- For a first time comer, what a letdown
- Well, for starters I'm not from USA, so i have other tastes, nevermind that, the beef jerky fame is big and i wanted to try it, around were I live we have a similar (hand made and traditional) product, which is delicious.
So i figured out that I couldn't be wrong by choosing the best brand available in a seemly good variation (peppered).
*Boy I was wrong*
I simply don't dig the flavor, the texture is so so (mostly it feels like plastic dried syrup), and definitely I don't like the glassy look of it ("My" version looks like straight up dry meat *should look*)
Well, still I'm going to suck up to it and eat all the jerky.
At least i have hope that it somehow is an acquired taste. - 2008-10-15, 0 of 0 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- Tender and tasty
- This is my jerky of choice hands down. I have tried many brands and flavors, but this is my favorite. Not really all that spicy to someone with a palate that craves heat, but very delicious. Big tender pieces for a commercially produced jerky.
If you want better jerky you need to go to the butcher shop. This is the best commercially made jerky available. - 2008-08-27, 1 of 1 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- The best jerky!
- I really don't like tough jerky but this jerky is different! It's fresh and much easier to chew than most jerky and also has a wonderful taste! Jack Link's is an outstanding jerky!

- Great plain/regular, not peppery jerky.
- I really don't like peppery or all these different flavors of beef jerky. Just like the regular stuff and this is it. Tried lots of different kinds, think this is the best. It's not cheap - usually have a great deal at Sam's works out to 68 cents per ounce without tax. With the coupon this month for $20 off $49 - it works out to 70 cents per ounce when you buy (2) 6-packs @ $25.50. When you add taxes back in at Sam's it's more than that, not to mention, free shipping to your door. Enjoy!
