Don't buy this: I saw a product like this on vacation, which worked splendidly, and I had to have one. This is not it. I carefully chose one that took D batteries, so it would be a good size, and more powerful, but I received a smaller version that takes double A's. It is useless. How did I live without this?: First, I didn't know these existed. Then I read about them on Amazon and didn't believe the hype but ordered one anyway. GREAT!: Have a long history loving 'Racket Zappers' in general. This one:
1. A bit smaller than other brands (head is smaller and handle is shorter). I like it better being slightly smaller and therefore more able to quickly maneuver.

fragile: This zapper works great however it is made from the cheapest most brittle plastic imaginable. I have tried different ones and they all are. I ordered five of these.
