As a young child I spent 10 years in a boarding school, the one thing I constantly dreamed of was a Christmas at home. This story I believe is based on a memory of one Christmas I had spent as a young child and before I entered the boarding school at age five. I have never been sure if this memory was factual or one I entertained in my mind for so many years, away from my home. The story has always haunted me, so I felt I had to write it.
