Product Description
“Revenge of the Gingerbread Man!” updates and continues the tale of a cookie come to life, but with a few movie monster thrills, snappy one-liners and, of course, a classic fairy tale ending. I wrote it to introduce young readers to the joys of satire and parody, and to give read-aloud readers like parents and library assistants a story they can really ham up. It's longer than a typical picture book, but it barrels along like runaway roller coaster on greased rails.

- fine children's story--and great for the child in all of us
- Joe Ekaitis scores a huge goal with his sweet (and sometimes not-so-sweet), captivating children's story, Revenge Of The Gingerbread Man. Joe writes beautifully with good attention to detail and this makes his characters, both human and animal, come alive in this short story. I think children will enjoy this story being read to them by parents and More reviews
- As The World Turns, So The Cookie Crumbles. Guess Who's Coming to Dinner.
- The ending in this short was a heart warmer of the first water. During and after the last scene happy groans and audible cozy sighs came automatically from my internal workings. Of course I was also delighted that the whole story rushed gleefully and entertainingly, almost stumbling-ly toward the perfect point of the story's concluding scene. All More reviews
- Wow! What a story! A kids classic in the making!
- I truly enjoy reading children's stories ... and writing them too. I read a lot of them and was pleasantly surprised by this author's fresh voice and the entertaining, exciting storyline. He has a great sense of humor and adventure; the lyrical quality of his style is perfect for kids from toddlers to about age eight.
