Not recommended, due to temperature inaccuracies, and a complete failure of the relative humitity readout.: This unit provides both temperature and relative humidity readouts. You can check both inside and outside temperatures in either Fahrenheit of Celsius. The outside temperature is provided to the display through a wire attached sensor. Good but the remote temp sensor is nearly useless: The basic thermometer/hygrometer part is very good. However, the remote sensor is nearly useless as it is connected by a cable to the display. They tell you to bore a hole in the wall to take the sensor outside but the cable cannot be detached which means the hole would have to big enough to fit the whole sensor through.
