Good little MP3: I bought this as my first MP3 player. I did the research and wanted one good for audiobooks. I'm not sure exactly how the bookmark works, but when I'm listening and turn it off, it saves where I was. I turn it back on and I'm at the same spot. I like that.

Great when it actually worked: I originally purchased this product from a big box store in October '07, despite reviews saying that problems were common. I do a lot of commuting, so I planned to use it for music and audiobook files. I really liked the functionality of the product (simple to use, easy menus/navigation, easy importing) but the inconvenience of common breakdowns is not worth it. Music worked fine, everything else not so much...: This was my first MP3 player. Unfortunately didn't work out so well. I had no trouble initially getting songs on the player, the playlist feature worked well. Unfortunately, after about 20 uses, the sliding power/on off button came off. Disposible PMP: I purchased a Zen V 4 GB In February, it has now died in October. So I have had 9 months of use for my money, all the time carrying a paper clip in my wallet to reset this buggy player.
