Running back and forth to the gas station to fill up car and bike tires, lawnmower wheels, boat trailers, and all those things that tend to go flat in the off season can get, well, tiresome. Cut out the back and forth with Black & Decker’s air station inflator. This handy unit plugs into any 120 volt outlet in the shop, or garage to quickly and conveniently pump up sports balls, tires, air mattresses and more. It also plugs into auto cigarette lighters and doesn’t take up much space in the car, boat, or camper for inflating sleeping pads and tires. The inflator easily inflates tires up to 200 psi. And, there’s no more guessing when the tire is filled to capacity. The inflator is equipped with Black & Decker’s EZ air dial that automatically shuts off once you’ve hit the desired psi. Convenient on-board cord, needle, and hose storage keeps all the goods in one place so that you don’t have to hunt down the needle to take care of that hard-to-bounce basketball. — Brian D. Olson

- B&D Air Station Review
- My new air station replaces one I bought about 15 years ago. Compared to the old one, the new one inflates much more slowly, has a harder to read gauge, is larger, and has much shorter cords. Definitely a huge step backward. More reviews
- Very Nice Air Pump
- This pump has several advantages that make it easier to use. It's faster, it can be set to a pressure level and it turns off when that level is reached, also it runs off 110 volt a/c or car battery power. More reviews
- Not worth the money
- I needed an air compressor to fill up the tires on my motorcycle and on my car. Ask yourself what you need it for.
I can tell you that for my needs I could do just as well with a $15 12v air compressor (the ones that plug into the cigarette lighter of your car). I purchased one of those after returning this Black and Decker More reviews
- Big improvement
- Head and shoulders above the first generation air pumps. Lightweight and not noisey at all. Dual voltage input power switchability is a real asset. Pumps pretty quickly it seems. Guage not very accurate. I interpolated a setting of 28 psi and it came out 24.5 by the digital air gauge. So never trust the built-in gauge - always double check with a good More reviews
- My wife appreciates owning it more than I do...
- Does a good job. It's a bit noisy, has a short power cord, and imprecise dial to set the pressure you want, but it's easy to use, and always at hand.
My wife was so excited about not having to rely on gas stations, and remembering to do it before you get the tires hot, that she filled up the tires on her More reviews
