- Works great, but has some drawbacks
- Let me start first by saying the positive aspects of this item.
This pump does work and it works well. Its gauge has a knob that you turn so that once it reaches a certain psi, it turns off automatically. This is great because you don't have to stand around watching it to make sure it doesn't over-pressurize whatever you're pumping. The gauge is also illuminated for nighttime use.
Now for the drawbacks. Unless you're pumping up a bike tire or something small, this pump takes a long time to pressurize. Also, the wall outlet cord that comes with this pump is ridiculously short, around a foot and a half long or so. Also, the tube you hook up to whatever you're pumping is really short too, probably around as long as the cord.
Overall, however, this pump is great for its price and I'd recommend it if you have an extension cord and no need to pump something up quickly. - 2007-05-12, 5 of 5 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- Pressure perfect!
- Simple to use and very vesitle. Works in your home or car. Simply set the air pressure you need and turn it onw. It will automatically shut off one\ce the desired pressure is reached.

- Good enough for me
- Quite a few babies here complaining about noise. Face it, all air compressors are loud. But its definitely tolerable for the short duration required to fill whatever your are inflating.

- Quality construction. Reliable inflation and pressure gauge and cutoff switch (for preset pressure). Inflation is noticably faster than other inflators. Gauge is easy to read. Moderate noise levels with NO irritating or annoying high frequency (pitch) clanking/knocking of metal parts. Moderate weight. Nice carry latch for easy movement and carrying. Easy to access and use storage compartment on top for cords, air hose, and accessories. AC and DC power switch. Firm, soft floor contacts prevents movement, isolates vibration, and silences all contact with the ground.
