Great learning toy but shapes don't fit together: I love Melissa & Doug toys because they are educational, innovative and lead-free. Great for homeschoolers' younger siblings!: We got this for our 3-year-old son so that he would have "seat work" to do at the table while our older homeschool children do their math. He just LOVES that he can sit and do his math along with the big kids! It keeps him entertained for a good 45 minutes to an hour! Fun, but not very portable....: As soon as I saw this product, I wanted to get it. The idea was wonderful...my child gets into a panic when pieces don't line up perfectly.
I love the patterns that came with it, but strangely, some of the pieces fit in an awkward fashion on there...they don't want to line up.
