- Bag is heavy duty and well made. Various pouch sizes allow a variety of tools to be held.

- Exactly What I Needed
- I'm a bonsai student and wanted a sturdy, practical way to store and protect my growing collection of tools. Some of them have sentimental value because I purchased them in Japan, and the higher-end tools are pricey, so they deserve care and attention to ensure they'll last for the decades they're meant to.
I'd combed the stores in Hawaii and in Tokyo and Osaka, with no luck. The various sensei in my beginner classes last fall had advised that we find ways to keep each tool separate from the other, and one of them had a homemade triple-thickness denim roll that looked like an old-fashioned chisel roll. With all the purpose-made items one can find in Japan, I'd waited on making my own, hoping that I'd find a durable, securable roll for my tools while shopping on vacation. No luck.
Thus, I was extremely happy to find this heavy-duty tool roll offered by Oriental Touch. It looked perfect for my purposes, and my only hesitation was whether the pockets would be wide enough to hold my wider trimming shears. The widest pocket does, perfectly (see below). The narrower pockets accommodate my various sizes of cutters and pliers.
