It fit perfectly on the head, though beware, you can sometimes not see anything if anyone tips it forward! =P
gorgeous material, and well done: the ostrich feathers can, or not, be used! very cool, so as to not lose them!

- This hat is PERFECT!! Even though the hat cost as much as my pirate wench outfit, it was well worth it! Can't wait to wear it :) FYI, the hat comes with 2 ostrich feathers that make the hat look cuter than the pic!

- This is a beautiful hat that ended up cheaper to buy online than at my local costume shop! Many websites currently have it (it's usually called a "Swashbuckler Hat") but none of them seem to offer it at the same price, so remember to shop around! The satin bow is very easy to remove if you want to replace it with a different color. The hat is made from comfortable velvet. It's pretty and just plain fun to wear. It has velcro on the sides to make it more versatile. It's easy to change styles between a pirate shape and a musketeer/sombrero shape. It is shipped flat, so you WILL have to do some squishing if you want the back to bend down like in the picture. Other than that, it looks just like in the pic. The complete product includes 2 different ostrich feathers, one red and one black, to help you accessorize. I was creating a pirate costume on a budget and I can say that this hat was well worth the money. It made my costume!
