My Subway Diary is an in'depth look at the tales, dramas and comedies that unfold during my daily commute on the New York City Subway. As a companion piece to The Subway Chronicles: Scenes From Life in New York and the website that inspired it, my diary is a personal perspective on the most public of spaces. On the website (www.thesubwaychronicles.com) several commuters undertook the experiment to document their subway experiences for one month. I decided to undertake the same project with the goal of using my surroundings for inspiration in my writing.
