After my husband and I moved to South Dakota, we thought we saw a ghost in our new home. I saw a young lady, very much like the one in my story, in a yellow dress. My husband, though, insisted she was an older woman wearing white. Since neither of us believed in ghosts, we decided that it was merely a reflection of passing car lights. Later, however, a friend claimed to have seen a woman dressed in brown wandering in our hallway. My husband died that year from cancer. Had the ghost been there to warn us?
