The O'Fallons - Plus One: A Prequel to I'll Be Seeing U
![]() | Average Customer Rating: Recommend This short story introduces the O'Fallon men, the handsome, dedicated, hard-working, confirmed bachelor heroes of my trilogy. It opens with Rory O'Fallon, finding a beautiful baby girl on is porch and in each book one of his sons returns home to help him find the baby's mother, stop the men after her, and fall ass-over-appetite in love along the way. - Trilogy Insight
- Reading this short story that Dianne has put together for her trilogy of Four O'Fallons and A Baby gives you insight into how the whole set of events came be that brought Rory's three sons back to O'Fallon's Landing. You come to understand how Rory came to find out about his daughter and the desperation that Mimi must have felt leaving baby Bonnie, but also that she was in deep trouble and this was the only solution.
Catching this prequel before or after completing the series will not dampen your enthusiasm for the trilogy. In the books: Til There Was U we meet Ryan; The Way U Look Tonight brings us Keefe and the conclusion I'll Be Seeing U is Quaid's story. Although each son has his turn at finding his own love, Dianne does a terrific job of weaving a story of love, mystery, suspense and family values, never losing sight of the great lengths that each son will go thru in order to help their father, Rory find Bonnie's Mother, Mimi and reunite them. This is a heart warming series that I would highly recommend. - 2006-11-22, 8 of 8 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- Short Story is a Teasing Appetizer or a Satisfying Dessert
- Whether you read this O'Fallon Family prequel before or after you read Dianne Castell's O'Fallon Family trilogy, you'll love the glimpse into how it all began! This short story allows you to experience the incident that triggered the trilogy's events: the arrival of baby Bonnie on Rory O'Fallon's doorstep. And this little bundle of joy, whose mother is running for her life, starts things in motion that draw Rory's three grown sons and their soulmates to the rural Tennessee town they grew up in. In the trilogy -- 'Til There Was U, The Way U Look Tonight, and I'll Be Seeing U -- the family comes together to protect Bonnie and bring her mother safely home, and the sons find their future in Fallon's Landing, beside the Mississippi River.
