 | Average Customer Rating: Recommend Some years ago, I went through a very dark time in my life. Suddenly I found myself divorced, middle-aged, and rudderless. I could easily have turned into a cold-hearted cynic. - I really enjoyed this excellent short story.
The story is set in a universe similar to The Blind Pig universe. The story showcases Mr. Guesz's deft characterization and skill at drawing the reader in emotionally. Fans of Mr. Guesz's earlier writing (like me) will be very pleased. The author's comment is actually a very good plot synposis, and I don't want to give anything away.
