The Swisher 28-ton 10.5 HP log splitter features a powerful Briggs & Stratton cast iron sleeve Intek engine for power and efficiency. The splitter also features 28 tons of splitting force, an 16-gallon-per-minute pump for minimum cycle time and faster splitting, and a heavy-duty 2-stage pump that provides maximum splitting performance. The splitter can also can function in both horizontal and vertical splitting positions, is easily towable with the included 2-inch ball hitch, and is backed by a limited 2-year warranty.

Great machine with a few modifications: I have owned this model for about 9 months now and have split over 20 cords so far. It is easy to operate, easy to start with a quick cycle on the ram. I get about 2 hours of running time to a tank of gas. Plenty of power, it has split everything I've thrown at it including 48" rounds of fresh elm and oak.
