- Latest firmware upgrade can cause the internal HD to continue running after shut down, which of course runs the battery dead.
User interface is slow at best, coverflow is almost unusable.
It never ceases to amaze me what Apple gets away with yet is still loved by everyone.

- Why does Apple send you a white headphone for a black IPOD
- Please enlighten me.
I recently bought an Black IPOD and received one with a white earpiece and white charger. I called Apple to return it and get a White IPOD but they want to charge me a 10% restocking fee. Wish I had bought it from Amazon instead. Do not buy from the Apple store, they will charge you a restocking fee if return it for any reason.

- Great mp3 player
- I just upgraded my 3rd Gen Ipod the "Classic" I was already using iTunes 7.4, so uploading all my music and photos was a breeze. I love being able to use the ipod as a backup for my all my photos. At first I didnt like the split screen menu, but now Im starting to like it. I like how you can preview photos and album covers. A lot of people have complained about the cover flow. Since most of my music is from ripped cds, I dont use it. I downloaded a couple of TV shows and the picture is very crisp. But I couldnt use it to watch a movie...screen still too small. Battery life is huge, and the metal enclosure is very sturdy. I also love the search feature. My only complaint is the click wheel. It seems my 3 year old ipod's wheel is more responsive. Other than that, I love my new ipod!!

- sharp edges and games would not upload
- The games I purchased cannot be downloaded due to a wrong software version. No comment from Apple how to fix this.

- Nice Ipod
- This is my 4th Ipod & I am really enjoying the new look & feel of the product. The TV Out issue is a little disappointing however I am pleased over all. The product arrived in a very timely fashion & I have not had any problems with the Ipod.
