Little engine that could...
Wow. It works like Vista should.... it is fast, powerful and the graphics are wonderful. For up-graders you do not have to buy a new kb, mouse or display--unless you really want to. Apple products are first rate and their customer support is phenomenal. And let's talk about all the new space I have on my desk. Just too cool. Looking for a pc for family room? Put this on or near the big screen and entertainment takes on a whole new dimension! Apple mini mac is just a marvelous device. [Before you ask--I have been using PCs for more than 20 years---and this puppy is exceptional!]

Mac Mini - Good Buy
Excellent product. Replaces an older version of the Mac Mini. This one is much faster and was purchased as a replacement for the older version mainly because of the newer operating system. Got $250 for the old unit. Amazon shipped this very quickly and it was received without any "hint" of damage - just as expected.

Nice machine for the money
Good Value. Could not justify the extra $200 for the SuperDrive model. For that money I bought an upgrade from 1 GB to 3GB, an external USB DVD burner and VMWare Fusion. The extra 170 Mhz and 2 MB of L2 Cache do not make it worth it to me. This is a neat piece of hardware. Quiet, small and fast. Makes a fine Windows XP machine too. Not real hard to upgrade the memory, just a little harder than it should be. If you've ever cracked open a PC case and putzed around, this shouldn't be too difficult. Just look at the various tutorials online and be careful. Also, I found a pair of 4" metal putty knives to be very effective for cracking this thing open, no scratches either. This is a good buy, but you may want to wait until Penryn model ships with X3100 graphics and new CPU socket for upgradability, this unit will never be any faster than C2D 2.33 GHz.

Apple Mini Mac 138LL
Already had a mini mac running Tiger that I loved, so got this one for
hubby that runs Leopard. He is hooked as well. Used the apple keyboards
and zebra striped mice that we got on Amazon and a HD TV/Monitor Combo
from Panasonic (that we got at Wal-Mart) and we were set to go. The
mini-mac is small, cute and very powerful. It's Mac for the everyman
(and woman).
