- Using High Speed Steel (HSS) means much less tool sharpening. This is especially true with micro-sized tools. At the low online price, these woodturning tools are a great value. - I have owned two sets of these tools because they are cheap, the right size for my applications, and I can grind them for special applications. However, they are not tempered well.
