2,000 gallons filtering? I think not.: I used the Crystal Quest pitcher for about 6 weeks and it was 6 weeks too many. This pitcher is poorly designed. It is small, narrow and the capacity is not even close to the 10 cups they claim when the filter reservoir is present. The spout is too narrow so it pours slowly. Not bad... Great value: my apartment had the worsted tap water I ever tasted, part mold, part chlorine, part I don't even want to know. I have used a number of pitchers and faucet mounted filters and this one isn't as good as some. That said I never started with tap water this bad.
