I live in the Ozark mountains, nothing like the Rockies but a wondrous place of hidden valleys and sharp inclines and folks. Hillbilly classics
This mini-collection of Ozark stories really captures the flavor of the region and the voices of the less literate denizens of the hollows. Meet a family of trailer dwellers. Watch as a local craftsman turns hubcaps into art with a capital 'A.' What if a cult of druids bought the farm next door? The situations in these stories are only slightly farfetched and always humorous.
I've enjoyed Peggy Johnson's homespun stories for some time now both on Amazon and in a writers workshop. Her straightforward storytelling is refreshing and worth spending some time with. So grab a mug of white lightning and download a few.
