Super-Bright 9 LED Heavy-Duty Compact Aluminum Flashlight - Jet Black

Average Customer Rating: Recommend

This amazing compact flashlight is like a spotlight you can carry in your pocket or purse! NINE light-emitting-diode (LED) bulbs produce a flood of pure, white brilliance but because LED bulbs produce very little heat, three inexpensive AAA batteries will last for over 20 hours continuous. Positive-action switch (click on/click off) won't go on accidently in car, toolbox or pocket. Heavy-weight anodized aluminum barrel is corrosion- and water-resistant, textured for sure grip…

Bought two, one worked
We bought two of these, one as a gift and one for my hubbie. I'm glad my hubbie opened his first because it didn't work. We opened the other one and it did, so we gave it on to the recipient. After messing around with hubbie's we got it to work - so if you're not afraid of playing with some electronics, go for it, otherwise - get something else.

great for the money
Bought these for the girls to have if the power went out at night. Of course they play with them and end up leaving them on half the night. The batteries last forever( still originals in now ) and they put out plenty of light for a descent sized room. Lightweight and have stood up to a couple of months of abuse from small children. No complaints.

Had to fix it right out of the package
Upon opening the package and inserting the batteries the light did not work. I checked a few things and found that the housing for the batteries has a pin at the top and that you do not get all of the voltage from the batteries unless it is fully compressed. What I did was pull the spring from the end cap out and this was enough to push the battery pin in when I reassembled the light. It's still cheap and a decent little light, but I wouldn't rely on it too much if it doesn't work right out of the package.

Sturdy, Long Battery life
The torch feels very sturdy in hand, the illumination is great and battery life good. What else could you ask for.
