A sure killer, once you figure out the trick: (1) These traps are greatly superior to the older wooden traps. They are neat, clean, and cool in a gadgety sort of way. I bought 3 of these, 4 of the M144s, and I set 2 of the old fashioned type that my exterminator put in (and the rats cleaned out without getting hurt). Rodent control, small farm: Have multiple units in barn & out buildings. Average 5 - 6 rodents on a set of batteries. Instructions reccomend using penut butter as bait, have found that poultry feed works much better. Will purchase additional units as required.
