- very helpful and definitely better than the free mount that comes w/ the GPS. I have the 660 nuvi and this is a perfect mount for it. definitely recommend it !!!

- Excellent GPS Holder
- I have had many different types of window GPS mounts and the dash board mount far exceeds any window mount. It stays where you put it and the best part is you can remove it when not in use, not leaving any indication that you have a GPS for someone to steal. It is also great for relocating to a second vehicle when needed.

- Steady and stable platform
- After reading reviews here and on POI Factory (http://www.poi-factory.com/), I gave this a try. Very satisfied with the ease of moving the Nuvi in and out of the vehicle. Much quicker and less trouble that the window mount. The friction mount keeps the unit in place - I have not experienced any shifting or sliding around. For locations where a windshield mount is not permitted this is an excellent choice. For those that want an easy way to move their navigation device from one vehicle to another or simply want to remove it for security purposes, I highly recommend this solution. (This mount does not leave a tell-tale sign on the windshield that can tip off a would be thief).

- A Must needed Item for any Garmin GPS!!!
- My girlfriend and her mom both received the Garmin Portable friction mount with there Garmin units but i didn't so long story short i used hers one evening and said its definitely something i will be purchasing. Because she wanted hers back for her Garmin. I tested it well by hitting the brakes hard a few times and going around corners fast and it stayed in place and never moved. I have the Garmin Nuvi 760 and it works well with a bunch of Garmin units. And i found it here much cheaper then buying directly from Garmin.
