This is a story about a tough eleven year old kid who is out surfing one day at Bay Street, Santa Monica, in the year nineteen seventy-two. Something happens to him out there —he sees something, and well… The story comes from deep within my childhood. Things like this happened back then in the late sixties and early seventies. And they're happening right now, today. And that's why I wrote the story.
