It is alright, but not quite the same..: So for fans of the original game, this version has some changes. The board is different of course, but there are a few other rules.
There are only 4 players instead of up to 6.
Each player gets a "leader" piece that can transform and have different special abilities for if it is in vehicle or person form.

Just played a Four hour game last night with my Son.: All I can say is that its unbelievably cool and fun. This was our first time playing Risk (we played over four games back to back) and it was very enjoyable. I'd say it was a combo of Chess and monopoly. Tons of strategy and fun gameplay.

Excellent game.: My children all love to play Risk. We have many versions, and they were excited to get the Transformers edition. Risk involves a lot of strategy. It can take several hours to play, so beware of that. It is not a quick, 10 minute game!
