- "Tin Coverage"
- After researching stovetop covers and finding I could order a one-piece unit for, gasp, $84 (special order to accommodate my stovetop vent), I decided on this basic alternative. Yes, $20 is a far cry from $84, but you do get what you pay for. Be forewarned they are described as "tin" and tin they are. The box they were shipped in from "Get Organized" was thin cardboard, so they arrived slightly dented and slightly scratched. They do fit over my gas burners, but since they are so thin, they do not sit level.

- nice and neat
- Hides my ugly burners. Keeps the stove much cleaner. They are kind of like cooking sheets.

- worth it
- They're a tad flimsy and I had to be careful not to bend them, but they will support the weight of pans while you're cooking on another burner. The metal is about the same weight as what they use for a cookie tin or pasta tin - not easily bent, but you can bend it if you're not careful. I guess the color can chip off a little, as the other reviewer says, but not that easily with normal use. Fit my burners with room to spare and matched the almond stovetop perfectly. I was so glad to have them when we were showing our house because it really makes the kitchen look tidier.

- O.K. review on burner covers
- These covers are o.k. - not high quality, but they do the job. They are lightweight, color can chip off, and, for the old style JennAir's that have a raised burner container, they don't quite fit. Had to stretch out the ends to get it to fit down over. But, for the money (lots of others are far too expensive) they are deep enough and will do for now.
