- Excellent product
- We ordered two 3760T PDR mounts for Samsung 52" and 40" TVs, and are very pleased with them. They are solidly built, were easy to install, and the TVs fit onto them easily. We slightly tilted both mounts because the TVs are slightly above eye level, and the tilt feature worked fine for us on both mounts. They are also a great value for such solid construction, especially with the rebate offers. Thanks Amazon for bundling PDR mounts with the Samsung TVS through the rebate offer, because they fit hand in glove together.

- Very Disappointed
- I had high hopes for this mount. I have used it for about 3 weeks and am thoroughly fed up with it. If it was designed to be a set in place, non adjusting wall mount, it would be perfect. Solid metal, heavy duty lag bolts, etc...but as a tilting mount, it is horrendous! My 50" plasma drops like a rock to the 15 degree angle when the tighteners are loosened and practically requires 2 people to adjust the angle. I didn't research enough to know that a lot of the mounts in this price range have 1 touch tilt without loosening any tightener...the mounts BALANCE the display. The lack of a 15 degree upward angle makes for a big inconvenience also. It is very difficult to plug cords into the plasma once installed since you can't angle it up at all. The Peerless tilt mount(ST660) is like $13 less and has upward tilt plus self balancing tilt!!! Uninstalling this thing and putting in the new one is going to be such a pain, but I can't stand this one any longer. Buyer, beware...

- Be aware of your TV's mounting guidelines
- We returned this mount for two reasons. First, Sony specifies that its LCD TVs be mounted to allow slightly more than 2" of air space between the wall and the back of the TV. Even with spacers provided in the mounting hardware, the spacing is a bit less than 2". Second, we found that a coffee table we had used for our old TV works perfectly for the new LCD--the middle of the screen is at eye level, which is recommended in the manual. Also, the table holds the cable box, DVD recorder, and center speaker for the audio system. In spite of this, we might eventually mount the TV on the wall and would probably purchase a different PDR mount that provided the specified air space. They seem to be very sturdy and the process for attaching them to the wall is straightforward.

- Very strong Mount for my sony 40" LCd TV
- I purchased this from Amazon to use with my new Sony 40" LCD TV. It was extremely strong and well designed for wall mounting my set. It is American made in Corona CA by Davis PDR Mounts Co.
It was necessary to contact them because the Sony KDL-40V2500 does not have a flat back, but has bolt heads sticking out on the back. Luckily The mount came with spacers for mounting the bracket above and below the interfering Bolt heads, and by using them I was able to mount the set easily, just like a picture frame. The bracket also came with a locking bar which prevent removal or theft.
The standard bracket from Sony was about $350 dollars, so this was a better way to go at $80.
Highly recommended. - 2007-06-17, 9 of 9 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- Reliable and easy to install!
- So far so good.... sorry, I hate to be so vague, but it's only been a few weeks with this product. It was very easy to install and seems extreamly secure. So I give it a full 5 stars!
