Burned son's hand
I bought this toy yesterday at Target. I brought it home and put the batterries in and it did not work. My three-year-old was SO dissappointed. He did not care it did not turn on. He still wanted to yank it out of my hands and play with it. A few minutes later he was yelling at the top of his lungs saying it was burning him. The thing was so hot! I unscrewed it to find the brand new batterries melting. They were brand new! I called Mattel and they just asked ME to mail it in and wait 8 to 10 weeks for a replacement. They put it all on ME. I was livid! I am so tired of toys made in China.

Great for preschoolers
This is a suprisingly nice toy. I paid under $40- defintely worth it! It is very durable, although the top comes off easily- i'm assuming it's to keep from pinching little fingers. My almost 4 year old likes to turn off the sound and play out her own adventures. To me, that's a sign of a toy that will keep her interest. I love that it comes with all the figures, and it can hook up with other play sets. The details, even down to how smoothly it rolls down the hallway to the grab handle underneath for pretend flying, are really nice. The only thing I can see so far to be a small problem is the figures have to seat in just right to stay put. This may take some practice for the younger crowd to get them in their little seats. Love this toy maybe as much as my daughter ;o)

Well Constructed, Cute, Kids Love It! Priced wrong
I'm writing this review on behalf of a purchase my mother made for my daughter here for the Pat Pat rocket. We paid far more than retail, but I only take into consideration the normal retail cost when reviewing products.
The toy is very well constructed, adorable as can be, a little educational (note: add ons), overpriced about $10 at Target, and super fun for the little ones who love Little Einsteins in your life! Alyssa loves her rocket! Wait til Santa brings at least 2 of the 3 playsets that work with the Rocket ($15 each for two, one is $25)..I think it will be more fun and educational then.
Basically, Rocket is durable, made to last, fun for kids who want it, note a space hogger, and a fair value. I'd recommend it! 4.5 stars here with the additions :-)

Don't waste your money
This toy is super loud with no volume control. of course you can turn it off but any toddler will know how to turn it back on.
I also don't like how every character has to be in the correct seat to talk with nothing to really help my toddler figure out where they go except the feet don't fit right.

My son loves this toy!
When I saw there was a Pat Pat Rocket, I put out the word that my son would like this for his first birthday...and I was right!!! Sure, it's a little loud, and sure it's difficult for a smaller child to use, but we have a great time playing with it together!
This is a great educational toy, and I recommend it for all Little Einstein fans!!!
