- How Did I Live Without It?
- If you have pets this is a must have - there are no two ways about it. This is absolutely essential. We had a sick cat that was puking all the time and this thing made cleaning so easy.

- The Best - 2nd one I've owned
- With multiple dogs this has become a MUST have for the carpets. For years I just did the auto setting and let it clean everything. Then when it was getting really old I decided to use the hose attachment. Wow! Even better. However with 3 years age the handle broke thus requiring a 2nd order. I've beaten the first one to death (almost daily use for at least 6 months of multiple puppies in the house). Wished I would have used the hose attachment sooner. It really sucks the water out of the carpet (and cleans extreemely well) leaving it dry to the touch in a couple of hrs. THe robot mode takes much longer to dry but does a very good job. The OXY clean was NOT a good idea Kind of bleached the carpet. Other than that I would recommend this to anyone.

- Main cleaner doesn't work
- I bought this product refurbished and when it arrived the steam cleaner attachment worked very well; cleans carpets and upholstery perfectly. However, the main portion of the cleaner (the spot bot itself that you set on the carpet to clean a spot) did not turn or function at all. I had to take it to a repair shop within 24 hours of purchase from Amazon to get it fixed. The salesperson says they get these Spot Bots in all the time for repair, that they are not good units. I really wanted this item to spot clean upholstery and car interiors so it works fine for that, but to have the main function of the item not working at all was extremely annoying.

- Where has this been all my pet-owning life????
- I rarely gush about an item-but this little machine is fantastic! I kept looking at them for about a year until I saw the remanufactured version on Amazon at a more reasonable price than I had seen elsewhere. First I was pleasantly surprised that they shipped me the "Pet" version of the Spot Bot. Is there a difference between the regular one and this one? I imagine just the color and the cool paw print sticker, but I dig it since they are the main reason for my purchase. I have 3 dogs and a cat. We live on a farm, so lets just say them hurling is an occurence that happens more often than not, and of course usually in the middle of the night when you least want to clean them up. My first test was a couple of stains set in the rugs when we bought the house-used the set in stain setting-and they were gone. Yes, it did leave the clean "crop circle" where the stain was, but I knew I needed to shampoo them anyway. Several nights later-you guessed it-at 4am Riley got ill. I cleaned up the "bulk" of I and just went back to bed trusting my new favorite helper would be successful in the morning. It was. The machine is loud, and the dogs hate the beep at the end of the cycle-but you won't regret the purchase!Does go through cleaner, but I don't care and you won't either...

- One of the most useful items I have purchased.
- This little machine really does a great job getting stains out of the carpet. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. The carpet is very light colored and everything shows.
The SpotBot was able to remove urine and feces stains with good success. I used the Oxiclean and Bissel cleaner included in the box. I also used Nature's Miracle to remove set in cat urine stains. It worked very well and also got rid of the oder.
The only problem with SpotBot is that it occasionally leaks and does tend to leave the carpet rather wet. However, I just used the hand attachment to vacume up the excess wetness and that helped. - 2008-04-18, 0 of 0 people found this review helpful, Rated:
