- I thought it would be brighter....
- After reading other reviews I was excited to have make this purchase. I was disappointed - I've had brighter pen lights!

- best reading light
- I have had many book lights and this one is by far the best. Sharper Image has a good one, with a leather case and its stylish and pretty bright. But it lost its power over the years, and still it never was as bright as this one by Mighty Bright. I had another from Barnes and Noble with 3 bulbs and was also quite bright. But it lost power easily and now doesn't work at all. That's is why I purchased this book light and it is great! Very bright and light weight, flexible so that you can have the light hit whatever amount of the page or pages you choose, and two different levels of brightness to choose from.

- At Last, One I like
- This is the best reading light I have bought and I have bought at least five. Most are not bright enough, this is. I use it so my reading will not disturb my wife. I don't need it to be super small and mostof the time I have it connected to an ac outlet so battery use is not an issue. When I have used the batteries they have given good service.
Seems light most manufacturers do not understand their market and think they have to be sub-miniature to appeal. That would be fine if they had enough light. This one works for me...would I change anything? Yes butnot woth mentioning here. - 2008-06-16, 1 of 1 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- KINDLE: Great when used at an angle to avoid "spotlighting".
- If you plan to use this light (or any light, very likely) with the Kindle, you will find a problem with "spotlighting." The Kindle's screen is just reflective enough to cause a bright splash across the page when a book light is pointed directly at it. It's impossible to read through the brightness. This book light has a goose neck, so it can be used successfully if you angle it a bit, so that only the edge of the circle of light illuminates the page. The drawback is that the light is no longer as local, and may disturb those around you if you are using the light to read at night.

- This little light is awsome
- They should've invented these things a long time ago! No need to use the crappy light in an airplane, this light is much more convenient!
