- OK-not what I really needed.
- The ADV only will stay active for an hour and then will go into sleep mode. Manual intervention is needed to wake it up again. Not useful when try to catch a cheating husband. Would not have bought if I had known.

- Great speech therapy tool!
- I use this to record my clients during speech therapy sessions for quick playbacks to give auditory feedback. I love that I am able to transfer voice files to my computer for storing baseline and progress data. I can even e-mail the files home for practice. The vocal clarity is excellent, and it is such an easy, convienient tool compared to traditional tape recorders. Plus, young clients like its sleek, cool cell phone-like look.

- This digital voice recorder serves my purpose well. I carry it everywhere to record my ideas. The mic is very sensitive.

- Terrific Voice Recorder
- The Olympus VN-4100PC is a terrific voice recorder. My primary use has been to record notes to myself. It is clear, easy to use and has a fairly loud speaker. I have yet to record any lectures or use the PC interface software. For my purposes, this digital voice recorder was exactly what I needed.

- Excellent Recorder
- This is an excellent, compact sized recorder. The sound quality is very good although you do have to be careful about background noise. The only problem i had was transferring the files to my computer...I have not gotten this to work as of yet
