Customer Reviews
- ended up in the dumpster
- with other positive reviews and other stores having it back ordered, thoguth it would have been a good product. After two hours of fussing with it, teh brakes dont work and to quote my head of props it was a POS. so out into the dumpster it went. Save your money and find a better unit. This one is made in china and apparently More reviews
- Works great
- I bought this for my Craftsman contractor saw. I have two cast-iron extensions, so it weighs a bit more than most similar saws. It is also well below the rated capacity of this base.
I set mine up for 24" x 28", which is doable, but barely, with the rails as supplied. I ordered the extension rail kit from HTC for an additional cost. More reviews
- Not suitable for heavy equipment--
- This HTC 3000 "heavy duty" mobile base is supposedly rated for 700 pounds, but I mounted my Grizzly 10" cabinet saw (less than 500 pounds) on it and, after moving it less than a half dozen times, one of the casters has completely disintegrated and a second one is coming apart. And this is on an absolutely smooth concrete floor. I tried without success More reviews
- Poorly Designed
- What's killing this product is that HTC went with cheap plastic lifting pedals that raise and lower the base. Mine lasted for about 2 years and then both pedals cracked. My table saw weighs 450lbs. The floor I am working on is flat, I move my saw about 5 feet each time and I have never left the base stay in a raised More reviews
- HTC 3000
- Works fine for a contractor table saw ~350 lbs. Moves easy and smoothly. I would have preferred it to be a little more solid when locked. I think it is the compliance of the rubber feet. You won't break the bolts if you keep in mind that they are 1/4-20 and use the appropriate torque. More reviews
