- When I first tried to scan something on this "all-in-one", it didn't work. I called HP and after a long time on the phone they told me that I needed a special driver to get the scanner to work (even though the printer was working fine).

- There aren't enough bad things in the world that can be said about this printer. It has cost me so much time, frustration and anguish. It's probably the worst printer in the history of printers and I cannot express how much I hate this printer. - Excellent for a Small Home Office
- I believe all the "USB disconnect" errors that others have been experiencing have all been with driver issues. The New drivers do not give that problem

- DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER
- This is printer is a money pit. It constantly prints documents in color, no matter how I configure the software. The scan mode is nonfunctional no matter what I try. HP tech support is non-existent, I have spoken with customer reps in Canada, Philipines, and India and none of these people have used the printer or have a clue about the problem. - This printer has been a great purchase for me. I wanted a quick printer with quality printing. Like many other HP printers, it is a bit of an ink hog, but unless you can find a 12 oz. ink bladder and rig it up to today's printers, you are not going to be happy about ink usage.
