- It's all about atmosphere. No gore here, just acute existential discomfort. "The Face of Another" is about a "psychologist" who makes artificial body parts. - The first film, Woman in the Dunes, is a beautiful example of cinematography. Just in the opening scenes with the entomologist walking on the beach was like seeing a painting brought to life.
