- A Toilet Seat Review - Weird Huh?
- Sounds weird, but I searched the net one day to find a toilet seat that would not slam when I shut it or accidentally dropped it. What do you know, they DO EXIST!
I picked up two of these. Let me tell you what - these things should be STANDARD on all toilets! Oh man, so nice just lightly closing the seat or lid and walking away knowing they are gently gliding down. No slamming! None. Not even a peep!
Only downfall is - when visiting friends or what not, you get used to your seat and when you use theirs (they have a regular one) you either catch yourself gently pushing the seat down which will result in a slam, or quickly pushing the seat down, which will also result in a slam (this is done on the quiet close seat if you want it to shut quicker - you push it down).
So, as you can see - you get used to the luxury of a quiet close seat! Don't have one? INVEST IN IT. At least one for the busiest of bathrooms in your home to try it out.
