Wow!
Haven't quite figured out all the nooks and crannies yet, but already like this a lot better than the GPS which came with my Lexus. I took a wrong turn yesterday and this little machine knew immediately and tried hard to get me on the right road, but I ignored it because I didn't know I was going in the wrong direction. So far, I love it and highly recommend it. Only one little problem; it won't stay stuck.

Great gift
My sister loves this TomTom, and she is technology challenged, so I have to rate it great for an inexpensive model.

tom tom 3rd edition
Works every time easy to set up and use. well worth the money spent. Could use another glue on disc to hold the suction cup for the mount. I went to a craft store and bought a round plastic disc, put double sided tape on one side. Now I can use the tom tom in both cars

good GPS
Excellent product - even though my new subdivision isn't in the map yet, whereas it can be found on Mapquest! I would love some updating on that from TomTom. Otherwise, nothing to complaint about.

A Real Bargain
The only real problem I have with the TomTom is its compass. Any real cartographer knows that top of the map is NORTH. The 2D representation is what I use, not the 3D which rotates in the direction you are going (very confusing to me). In the 2D presentation the compass does not point in the direction you are going, it confuses East and West. I also have the DeLorme GPS receiver on my laptop and it does this job correctly. A complaint to TomTom brought back an explanation which does not make sense to me. So I just turned off the compass.
