- excellent aerator
- We did an A/B comparison between this and our funnel/decanter which aerates very well. The Vinturi actually showed more effect on a 2005 Bourdeaux blend than did the funnel/decanter. Plus, the Vinturi is WAY more portable, slipping easily into a purse or messenger bag. Take it to your next restaurant that serves wine, and improve your bottle for pennies.

- A must for wine lovers!
- Once you use it, you will never want to be without your Vinturi Essential Wine Aerator. Simple, and easy to use. And its fun to listen to it "gurgle." It will take a tight wine and smooth it out to a more mellow offering. Great little stand for before and after use, and it will travel with you in its own carrying case. We had a Wine Steward use it at one of our favorite restaurants, and decided that this was our aeration solution. Glad we did.

- Vinturi Wine Aerator
- I saw this used in Napa on our last trip and wondered if it worked. When I got home I blind tested this Aerator with two different wines and with three different people. To my surprise, we all picked the best tasting wine that was used with the Aerator. I used an expensive wine 25+ and a bottle of two buck chuck. I picked out the wine that was used with the Areator everytime and so did the other two tasters. It really works. I even used it on some white wine, it gave it a different taste, I don't know if it was better, just different. For the price, you can not lose!

- I had seen this product 'demonstrated' at a dinner I attended. You really can taste the difference between two glasses - one with and one without the aerator.

- I find it amazing that people who have rated this one star never actually used the item. They seem unable to differentiate the product itself from communication issues. I tried this tonight at a wine tasting that involved some excellent Burgundy wines. Most people who drink old world reds know that some time in a decanter is necessary to allow the wine to open up in order to experience the full flavors of the wine. Doing a side by side test with the same wine using this device and not using it was eye opening. The Vinutri really works! My wife and I were both amazed at the difference and we used it on 3 different wines. I bought one before I left the tasting and immediately put it to use at home. You cannot go wrong with this if you can appreciate how enabling a wine to breath makes such a difference.
