- Very pleased.
- I am currently using a trial version of this product. I love it!! I was using my internet provider's internet security suite. I hated it!! My computer bogged down. It was not user-friendly. I then tried another popular internet security suite. In the past I had used an earlier version and was somewhat pleased. Their 2008 version did not look or operate like their earlier version. Affected the performance of my computer. I downloaded BitDefender without a glitch...smooth and fast. To my amazement my computer runs almost as well as it did new. I would highly recommend trying a trial version of this product. I'm very glad I did!

- Horrible, Awful, Frustrating...You get the point
- Installed this program on a newer (<1 year) XP machine and a brand new Vista laptop. Worked miserably on both computers, caused network errors, programs to stop functioning, etc. Very erratic in which programs it would stop and start. Brought the Vista machine to a crawl, had to uninstall it within a day. Very dissatisfied, would not buy or recommend.

- could be more user-friendly
- This security suite was highly recommended which why I ordered it. I'm sure it does the job but for someone who is not computer savvy like me it could be more user friendly. I found it harder to understand what they wanted me to do when running a scan and had to call them in order to get instructions sent via email to remove malware from my computer. I never had to do that with the Kapersky that I had before. I do not recommend this product unless you have taken a lot of computer classes and are under 40.

- the product keeps freezing up my computer, so I tried reinstalling it several times but that didn't work.

- Disaster!
- Maybe it works for you, but this product shut down our office. Four computers, nothing special; 4 yr old PC's running WIN2000 Pro on Windows network, M.S. OfficePro and Quickbooks. I installed on two computers first.
Could not download e-mail! Tech support said they scan mail at the source, and the problem was at our Internet service provider's server software. Solution given: shut down email scanning!
Then could not open Quickbooks database on one computer, and Access DB on my computer. Work-around solution - shut off virus scanning, open DB, then turn scanning back on.
Could not print quotes using Web-based estimating program. So our business was shut down. We sell products to the construction industry - we could not e-mail, we could not store and follow open projects, we could not quote, and if we sold something we could not record our financial data.
Tech Support asked me to run a SYSDUMP and a BitDefender File Utility program to trap the computer process at time of error. They have a page already set up on their website for users to download these utilities and instruction. A little scary that this is SOP for this company; they must have a lot of problems. Anyway, I did their work for them; created and sent the files generated from the utility programs. THEY NEVER RESPONDED! Not even after F/U e-mails.
I was even blocked out of my Amazon account to start the return process. I unloaded BitDefender from my computer just to get access to Amazon. I couldn't wait to unload the other copy and get our money back and spend it on a more mature product. (In my case - McAfee). This has been an expensive lesson for our company. - 2008-01-09, 4 of 6 people found this review helpful, Rated:
