- My first run with the 'new' Ryu
- I bought this game for the gift card and how I heard NG Black was so great. First, let me say this game focuses more on survival than stylishly beating up on enemies. You'll get ambushed many times by numerous enemies, sometimes spamming projectiles to no end.

- Expensive Thrills and Cheap Tricks
- "Ninja Gaiden 2" probably will not be remembered very fondly. A game blighted by terrible camera, cheap difficulty-raising tricks, and a game engine generally hailing from the previous generation of consoles, NG2 nevertheless has enough of the magic dust of its XBOX predecessor to make it a fully worthwhile purchase.

- This Ninja Gaiden is awesome. All the elements that make it a true Ninja Gaiden are present. Flawless controls, the impossibility that we've all come to know, are all there. - Got confused!
- Level 1 was lots of fun but at the save point at the end of the way I did not know I was supposed to jump on the roof, and I did not know I was supposed to press A continuously but I tried it. I ended up in a lovely park with a bridge and water. I tried jumping after I kept going in the direction I came at the end of the hallway.… More reviews

- Ninja Gaiden 2 is overall a very fun, interesting, and challenging, game. For fans of the first game, this one follows up quite well. In some aspects it is less challenging, like being able to heal when you save, but sometimes it is much harder, as in you fight many more enemies throughout the game.
