- After reading many reviews on different cameras, I decided to go with the Canon SD1100 IS. It had great reviews and so far I am very happy with the camera.

This camera replaced an SD 850 which was twice as expensive and had the unfortunate lens mechanism failure after 15 months (3 months out of warranty). Otherwise that camera was great. After researching reliability I decided to get the PowerShot SD 1100IS. I liked the simplicity and overall features so much that I got a second one for our daughter. Both were purchased through Amazon, and came with free shipping and a competitive price. Very happy with photo results. - Great camera, great price.
- This is a great little camera, style and function. I am a loyal Canon user, I find their products of the highest value. My only negative with this camera is that when taking pictures indoors, they come out dark when set on Auto. I am not a camera expert so I am sure there is a more effective way to take indoor photos, but for now, mine just don't come out great. However, even if I knew that beforehand, I would have bought this camera anyway. I am a satisfied customer.

- Nice little camera
- First of all, I like the color (I as a little fearful it would be too pinkish, but it is quite nice). It takes very nice landscape shots, and nice people shots. My one complaint is I can't get it to take good shots in poor lighting, but I am sure if I was more technical, and read the instructions more carefully, I could accomplish that. I am just not very technical,and am a point and click type of girl. This is pretty much a point and click camera besides that. Thumbs up, so far!

- good decision
- Have had this camera for about 2 months now, and am very pleased with it. Simple to use, and takes beautiful, clear pictures. I have used it for vacation shots and scenery shots mostly. Be sure to order another memory card when you purchase the camera. The one that comes with it only held 8 pictures.
