- Works just OK.
- The whole unit with timmer attached is pretty heavy. Found myself having to take frequent recovery breaks. It also makes the unit a little harder to control for detail work. Found myself having to make frequent passes over the same spot to get the job done. Has shorter and narrower teeth than my cheapo electric B&D trimmer. Will use this more for touch ups and the B&D for the twice yearly detail trims.

- Price was good and the trimmer arrived within a very few days. It was as advertised, actually looked new with only a couple minor scratches. I have used it on my shrubbery and it works great. Good product, good service. Thanks!

- I bought two Expand-It attachments that were both factory reconditioned since I was willing to sacrifice a few scratches for cost savings & also considering that some stores are required to sell opened box items as reconditioned. Out of the box, I couldn't tell why they were labeled 'reconditioned' since both looked brand new. The Hedge Trimmer not only looked new, but worked better than I expected. I even went to Home Depot recently to compare with the same trimmer they carry..couldn't tell any difference.

- Great Hedge Trimmer
- This reconditioned Ryobi Hedge trimmer attachment works like and looks like a new one. Works well with my Ryobi gas trimmer. Trimming my tall hedges is simplified as compared to my previous electric hedge trimmer (moreso without the need for a power extension cord).

- I purchased one of these to go with my Troy-Bilt Big Red line trimmer.
I've got some really large bushes and hedges in my yard, and hoped that this would keep me from having to bring out the ladder (and give me an alternative to the crappy electric hedge trimmer I have).
Well... it works reasonably well. I'm not sure I'd use it on any thick hedges, because it seems like the "teeth" are really too small for more than routine trimming. But as far as routine trimming goes, it works great.
The only downside (and your experience may vary, depending on the trimmer you're attaching it to) is that you wind up with a tool that gets incredibly heavy, and somewhat difficult to maneuver. This is great if you have a long row of bushes or hedges to do a level trim on, but you really aren't going to want to wield this around to do detail work.
For the price, though, it's worth having around if you have a lot of hedges and bushes.
