- Unable to download ringtones
- I purchased this phone for the price and having it be my first bluetooth!
I was deciding on keeping Tracfone..my Kyocera K126C is great...or switching to Virgin. After 2 days of trying to download a Virgin website ringtone on my new Flare..kept getting message on phone and website stating.."log-in failed". Virgin has been trying to fix this for over 2 weeks now. If they can't remedy the problem very soon. Im sticking with Tracfone. I have the dbl min for life on my phone and I believe it IS cheaper than Virgin when push comes to shove..Oh the Flare phone?..its okay..nothin' to write home mom about! - 2008-10-31, 0 of 1 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- Great little phone and solid Virgin Mobile service
- I needed a cheap cell phone for emergency calls and occasional calls from on the road. I went with the Virgin Mobile pay-as-you-go service and it is good coverage at a low price. The LG Flare phone is fairly no-frills, but it is a nicely made little phone. It fits great in my pocket, and the one touch settings for silencing the phone and turning on vibrate are very nice. I am very happy with this phone and the Virgin Mobile service.

- LG Flare is a good choice for a Virgin Mobile phone
-
I originally purchased Virgin Mobile's $20 phone, the Kyocera TNT. Although the phone was cute, the screen resolution was VERY poor and the sound quality was tinny. In order to hear your phone messages through the speaker phone, you had to turn the phone backwards because the outbound sound was emitted from a speaker faced to the outside of the phone.
Sound quality is much improved with this LG Flare. For only $10 more, this phone has a M4 audio quality which is the highest that you can get. The screen is also clearer and brighter. After a week of use, there are only two things that I would change: skip the little door that covers the port for the battery recharger and update the look of the exterior to mimic the TNT (snazzy color, rubberized exterior, etc.) - 2008-09-12, 1 of 1 people found this review helpful, Rated:
