- It's a dinosaur
- Considering the fact that game machines are as powerful as computers these days. The Madden game is not worth the price tag. The running animations do not resemble humans very much. Cyborgs maybe. The quarterback doesn't seem to be holding the ball in his throwing animation. Basically, it just seems like a poor effort all around. I just can't believe they would put out a product like this if 2K were still putting out football games.

- Madden NFL 2009 Ruined My PS3
- I have been playing madden for nearly fifteen years but after buying this game, I will never play another madden game again. Before i bought the game, I read about all the freezing problems other people where having but i didn't think it would happen to me. However, after only a few hours playing the game it started to freeze up on me. Less than a day later it froze for the third time and completely ruined my ps3. Now I can play any ps3 games, dvds or cds. To makes things worse, this problem has been around for a few months ever since the game was released and EA has done nothing to address the issue. A game with such a huge flaw should never have been released without being fixed. If you don't believe what i say or think i'm just a person who happens to have a random bad disc or faulty ps3 system please, please read other peoples' experience at this site [...]
I just hope that anyone thinking of buying this game will read this review and decide not to waste their money on this piece of garbage. - I Wouln't Waste My Money On This Game
- I've loved Madden's football games for years. Usually I'll buy the most current Madden game every year. Unforunately I bought Madden 09(PS3) before renting it expecting it to be good like the rest have been. Wow, was I shocked at how poorly this game was put together. It was like they were in a rush to put this game out on the market. All the finishing touches are missing. I felt cheated for giving Madden my $60.00 for a game that plain and simply sucks! I went right back on Amazon the day after buying it and sold it for $35.00. Don't waste your money! As for the other Madden games coming out in the future, I'll be sure to rent before buying.

- The best to date
- Must be played in High Definition mode to enjoy the full capabilities of this game. I particularly like the Madden IQ test and the virtual training features. The Superstar mode isn't something I would care to play initially but after mastering the game in the franchise mode I think I will attempt the Superstar mode. There are game freezing issues that has to be resolved with a download from EA sports but overall this is a must buy. Go Falcons!!

- Pretty complicated game with so many buttons to press simultaneously but enjoyable and graphics are good.
