The Klean Kanteen 12oz Stainless Steel Water Bottle is excellent for little ones learning how to drink on their own. Pick your style cap. Having an insulated tote is key as it keeps their little hands warm and the beverage warm or cold - whichever you prefer. You may machine wash the Neoprene totes and put the bottles in the dishwasher. However, I have found that hand washing both works much better. The dishwasher cannot get into the Kanteens very well. Buy a bottle washing brush at your grocery store. - Better than what came with my bottle
- I like this cap better than the stainless/plastic one that originally came with my Klean Kanteen. This cap is simpler, all plastic (polypropylene, which has a fairly safe reputation at this time.) Easy to wash, goes through my dishwasher in the silverware basket with no problem.
